Shrinky Dinks

Oh - and I just saw somewhere that you can wash #6 recycled plastic (polystyrene - usually the clear plactic containers in your supermarket's bakery, can find other places too!) and use it to make shrinky dinks! How cool is that? Grace loves to make shrinky dinks! Charms, necklaces, for cards... I think you need to lightly sand one side and then that's the side you color on, or skip this step and use permanent markers. Cut your shape, punch holes if needed and put on foil in a 350 degree oven. Watch it shrink & curl, when it flattens out, it's done. Remove carefully, it's hot! Yay! I love recycling and reusing stuff!
