Grace had her first dance recital last Friday. Following are some of the 100+ photos from the day.

ReplyDeleteThese are adorable pictures!! She is such a sweetie...and those curls are to die for! Did she wash them out right away?
ReplyDeleteYes - she had a screaming fit, mascara streaming down her face, "I can't get out of the van at DQ or the girls there will see my hair." (so?) So she had a bath right away, we hoped it would help settle her down, she was way over stimulated. It was fun to see her so dressed up and girly, though.

ReplyDeleteWow, this post brought back memories of June dance recitals and my own two daughters...
Maybe next year Grace will want to be seen in all her finery and fabulous hair. I seem to remember that going to Perkins in costume and make-up after the show and seeing other girls similarly attired was the thing to do.
