And He Was a Beautiful Butterfly! (and other wild life)

A recent trip to Minneapolis yielded stacks of school clothes (with 14 yr old Micah taking special interest in this for the first time!), a trip to the Great Minnesota Get Together (state fair), and Como Zoo & Conservatory. Here are some of the pictures, in no particular order...

My favorite butterfly, love the spring green color!
I love butterflies!
In the traditional protestant church, the butterfly is a symbol of New Life.
One of the reasons my tattoo is a butterfly...
I could go on and on, but will spare you.
(You're welcome!)

This is the last year for the butterfly exhibit at Como Zoo.
These Victorian Water Platters are eerie.
So big that either Micah or Grace could lay on one
and they'd snap shut like a giant venus fly trap!

Very prehistoric-like with all the thorns...
Grace checking out a brand new piglet. So cute!
Aunt Elaine trying on Micah's new hat.Grace on the carousel at Como.
