of a 13 year old boy:
* Don't take too many pictures. It's annoying.
* Don't ask too many personal questions, especially about girls! Don't be nosy.
* Don't suggest he do anything resembling chores.
He's too busy.
* Don't tell him how to dress. Whatever is on top when he opens a drawer is just fine.
* Don't talk about personal hygiene. Too personal, Mom!
* Don't ask him to try new foods, especially vegetables. Pizza, Mac n' Cheese and pop cover at least some of the food groups, right?
* Don't mention manners. Who really notices if 'please & thank yous' are used and elbows are on tables and chewing occurs with mouths wide open?
* Don't ask him to ... just don't ask him anything.
But when that fails, and you do have to ask him about all these things, because you want him to grow into a strong, disciplined, self-sufficient man, make sure you teach him to cook and bake and then feed him.
Don't worry - his heart is in there somewhere!
If the way to a man's heart is through his stomach,
you'll eventually reach it!

This is cute, Kathy. He is such a perfect mix of you & Micheal.
